Luxury 1-Bedroom, Wi-Fi, Close to Oxford

Positive: De ligging, rustig, bus naar Oxford op loopafstand en parkeergelegenheid. Negative: Het appartement kan een goede schoonmaakbeurt gebruiken. De bank is aan vervanging toe, het bed is erg smal. De verwarming stond hoog, we moesten alle ramen open zetten om binnen een aangename temperatuur te krijgen. Hierdoor kon er ongedierte naar binnen, een grote spin! Ook misten we informatie over bv Oxford en de bustijden.

Good Oxford option for those with car or have good fitness. Positive: There is plenty of space and the kitchen is well equipped. Easy parking on the road opposite so long as you don’t arrive at school pick up time. Lovely walk up past the millennium beacon towards Cumnor from the house. If you don’t fancy walking up and down Harcourt Hill you can drive to the Seacourt park and ride Negative: The walls are thin with noise travelling between rooms. Be aware that it is quite a steep hill up from the shops in Botley

Good basic accommodation just outside the city. Positive: The location was very good, just a couple of miles outside of the city. We used the park and ride system each day and it was very good value. The flat met our basic needs and was in a pleasant neighbourhood. We enjoyed having the extra space the accommodation provided by comparison with a hotel room or Bed and Breakfast accommodation. We loved Oxford, having not visited for many years. The colleges and the history and the pubs all impressed. It's a great place to visit. Negative: The accommodation was fairly basic. The bathroom had several spiders. The bedroom had only enough room for a basic double bed. Some windows wouldn't open. Some wouldn't close. Probably time to redecorate and smarten things up.

Very comfortable stay. Positive: A comfortable flat in a peaceful area. Bus stop close by for getting to Oxford centre and train or a 50 minute walk if you feel like some exercise. Easy self check-in. Had everything I needed for my 3 night stay. Negative: Whilst the neighbours were quiet, you can hear voices, shower and doors from nearby flat. The yard appeared neglected. It would look so nice if tidied up. Potential for a lovely outdoor area there.

Helpful administration who cared to listen & offered timely response! Positive: Decent place to stay :) Negative: Can’t think of anything, but I felt the roads could improve as drive was bumpy, but it’s nothing to do with this particular property.
