3 Bedroom House, Private Garden , WiFi - Close to Oxford, Blenheim Palace & Bicester Village

Extremely dissapointed Positive: We got an hour earlier check in The location was convenient for blenhaim palace The beds were comfortable Negative: The house was terribly shabby, starting with the exterior there was a massive ugly wooden partition where there is building works going on and the garden is an overground mess full of weeds, upon entry the the carpets in the lounge/dining room are stained, the walls are dirty in dining room the kitchen is terribly old and battered, drawers don't open/close properly etc, the back garden is affected by building works too, it's unsightly with ugly partition fencing, uneven sections that have been dug up and there is a leak from an overflow pipe that drains into a bucket by the back patio doors, despite the gorgeous weather we decided against sitting out there. The wall paper in hall stairs and landing peeling and basically the whole house could do with some major money spending on it to bring it to a decent standard. Absolutely not worth the £500 we paid for our 1nights stay. On the few plus sides although shabby the place was clean but clearly the cleaners can't do anything about the wear and tear and we thought the beds were comfy.

Did what it needed to do - give us a place to sleep. Positive: It was near what we needed Negative: It was tired, no one mentioned the building works, parking was worse than expected.

Covenient location clean and was perfect for one over night stay Positive: It was very convenient to Blenheim palace and very clean

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft Positive: Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit ansprechendem Eingangsbereich (Blumen im Garten). Alles war sauber und ordentlich, Betten sehr gemütlich. Die Einrichtung war in sehr gutem Zustand.

We enjoyed staying apart from the bathroom situation. Positive: It was clean and beds were comfortable. Negative: There was only one bathroom and a separate toilet….not two bathrooms as advertised. We would not have booked the house if it had been advertised properly as we wanted two so it was very inconvenient. Didn’t realise it doesn’t have central heating.
