Had a lovely weekend away … the steakhouse was walkable and food was exceptional… such a lovely apartment. Positive: A lovely clean modern apartment … had everything you need … would definitely stay again! Negative: It was very hot apartment but not complaining. Someone was parked in bay two when we arrived but again not complaining!

We enjoyed our stay, apart from the problems described above Positive: The flat perfectly suited our needs except that we had a series of problems to deal with on our first morning: These started when the toaster didn’t work. No great problem as we were able to make toast under the grill in the oven. Next, there was no hot water in the shower. Then we discovered that the kettle was no longer working. At this point we deduced that the electricity supply to the appliances had probably tripped. We found the consumer unit and could see one of the trip switches had operated. This stayed in when we reset it and the kettle now worked but it tripped again when we tested the toaster, so the underling problem was clearly being caused by the toaster so we thought the problem was solved. However, there was still no hot water in the shower. We then realised that the water for the shower was possibly not heated by electricity but by an instant hot water feed from the gas boiler. We found that the gas boiler had gone off, probably because of the interruption to the electricity supply. We succeeded in starting the boiler and hot water was restored to the shower.
