3 Bedroom Glorious Flat + AC, Oxford, Kidlington

Stay was really good apart from main bathroom Positive: Very comfortable great kitchen and living area - clean and bright Negative: Toilet seat in the main bathroom broken completely- kept falling off quite dangerous

Positive: The on call staff was readily available on the first night when I call him to fix an issue with the apartment water heating. Apartment is a short 7-15 minutes drive from Oxford. Parking slot for our car. The staff is responsive to my questions and remarks. Negative: On our first night, we arrived pretty late 9 pm ish. It was when my mom started to take a shower and she realised that there was no hot water! Such a weird situation, never had this before. I wasn't able to fix it, so I eventually WhatsApp called the on call person, Roo, and luckily he managed to fix the issue for us, after 15-20 minutes. He's very polite. Thanks god we have hot water that night which would have otherwise been disastrous given that I was going to have my graduation ceremony the next morning. In all my experience, hot water is readily available, and if not, at least, the management team should have told us beforehand The provided guidebook does not fully correspond to the actual situation. I have some trouble setting up the room heating. One of the small rooms, with two separate single beds, doesn't have a functional floor heating (I didn't contact them about this), but the rests work. The shower facility was not very great, dirty showerhead and the knobs didn't seem to all work. Either the whole shower handle is supposed to be shaky, or it is patched with a black tape to stop the handheld shower head from sliding down. In the main bathroom,near the entrance, it was really easy to remove the whole toilet seat from the bowl, which is not what I want... I just want to lift the toilet cover only and or the toilet seat, not the whole thing removed completely from the base. Kitchen utensils are not great, seem like they employed used items because they all looked like they have been super scratched, the casserole base already has the protectice layer scratched away from it, leaving the metal base. Water kettle doesn't look great inside. What's weirdest of all, but then the landlord sets the rule, nothing we can do about it, is that they expect us to wash all the dishes and empty the binds, explicitly stating that the cleaning fee does not include washing dishes...

Brilliant property Positive: Very clean, everything you need was available. Location was great. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area Negative: Nothing, it was really excellent all round

Lovely flat with private garden Positive: It is a very nice flat with a private garden. We were 4 couples (one had to sleep in the livingroom/kitchen) but we had enough space. There were enough dishes, chairs and big pots so that we could cook. The private garden is a big plus as we could all sit outside for meals. You can enter the garden from outside - with a code - so that early raisers can be there untill the group gets up. Communication was very good and we were allowed to check in earlier which helped a lot. It's a bit outside of Oxford (but that'sclear from the name), and bus services are good and very cheap (10 pounds for a group ticket for up to 5 people for a whole day!) Negative: With a bunk bed and twin beds it was not ideal for 4 couples but we knew that beforehand.
